The teams that make it this far now have an almost easy task - all they have to do is follow the river to the finish line. The river stretches out for almost 1,037 miles. It takes a team going around 10 miles per hour around 103.7 hours to make it to the check point beyond the river. Since the river is not completely frozen it is not the best idea to run on top of it, though it is possible, but the ground is pretty level and there are not that many trees. Even though it seems calm around here you must still be careful because there is always danger lurking about. Many animals drink at this river so it is much easier to hunt, and there are small forests here and there. Most that make it this far must start hunting everyday to feed themselves and their dogs for their food supply has most likely run out.
