This large lake is iced over, most areas are thick but watch out for thin ice for its possible to fall through. The lake stretches on for almost 383 miles. It takes a team going around 10 miles per hour around 38.3 hours to make it to the check point beyond the lake. Along the sides of the lake is a dense forest. Sure running through the forest might ensure that you will not fall through the lake but it will take twice as long to make it through. You must be very careful around here, there are many other dangers other than falling through the lake. This course is rather difficult, many teams do not make it to the next check point.
