This trail is used to train dogs to become sled dogs. It is a short 10 mile trail across an open meadow. The markers are two groups of trees one group at either end of the race. The trail is wide enough to have many people come here at the same time to race. A small prize of $100 is given to the first place winner. Second place gets $75, while third place gets $50. All other entrants get a prize of $10 for entering.
