Snow and ice covers every inch of the mountain you must be careful not to slip up. The mountains stretch on for about 972 miles. It will generally take a team going around 10 miles per hour around 97.2 hours to make it to the check point beyond the mountains. Climbing the mountain is a very difficult task, most turn back and give up the race. This is a common place to find wolves, but since there is very little game you must be extremely cautious for they might think of you as dinner. There is no set path to get over the mountain, each team must make their own. The higher you go, the harder it is to breath but it might just be the safest way to go though it will take twice as long.
